Information on Georgia Christmas Charities?

I'm a mother of 2 year old twin girls. We have had a rough year and are just barely getting by. Now Christmas is around the corner and if I don't find some help for their Christmas then they won't have one.

I know a lot of charities have already stopped for signing up. I have never had to ask for help so I wasn't sure on the dates. If anyone has any info on anyone or charities that would help it would be greatly appreciated. We live in Calhoun, GA.

There are still places to sign up so please check out all suggestions and be sure to talk to someone at any church in your area as they usually always have children's Christmas parties.

Here is a site to post your need - just tell your story and see if there is someone willing to help.

I believe you are within driving distance of Dalton and they have several open programs for children.

lowincomerelief.com/.../

Have you stopped by a fire station to see what Toys for Tots can do for you?
You can also place a listing on Freecycle and Craigslist asking for help - just give a short account of why you are in need and ages of twins. Nextdoor.com is also good because it will be people in your area.

I am so sorry to hear this. But there has to be resources in your city/town or state. Do you have "Saint Vincent De Paul?" They help children for Christmas and also food for Christmas. Also, "Catholic Charities." Are you affiliated with a church in your city/ town? Your church should help you, they are usually funded for these things. Also, call you Town Hall and ask if there are any resources to help families in need of help for their children for Christmas?

Have you thought to contact; "Toys for Tots." This is what they do!! The Salvation Army raises money to help families. Also, "Goodwill." Please call all these very soon, and please reply with an update? "God Bless you and your family, my thoughts and prayers are with you. Best wishes to you all.
