Table Top Mini Christmas Tree - paper treeA tissue core can amazingly be made into different things. Now, that the "-ber" months have started, as part of our family tradition, we have also started decorating our homes for the holiday season. This season's theme may involve a lot of paper rolls and tissue core crafts. Here's one.

Supplies:

Table Top Mini Christmas Tree - supplies
 

Steps:

  1. Cover mini cardboard star with any colored tinsel foil you like. Set aside.
  2. Table Top Mini Christmas Tree - cover star with foil
     
  3. Punch tinsel foils to form shapes of your choice. Gather the pieces and set aside for later.
  4. Table Top Mini Christmas Tree - punch shapes from the tinsel foil
     
  5. Cut out two parallel spaces on the center top of the tissue core and cover with brown colored paper. See attached image.

  7. Fold green colored pieces of paper in alternate directions like an accordion. Fold them in half.

  9. Apply glue in the center, then compress to stick both ends together, then open wide.

  11. Cut two green pieces of paper shorter than the other.
  12. Table Top Mini Christmas Tree - cut two of the green accordions shorter than one
     
  13. Decorate them with tinsel shapes.
  14. Table Top Mini Christmas Tree - decorate the larger shape with punched shapes - the the smaller ones as well

  15. Glue the first small paper onto the tissue core.
  16. Table Top Mini Christmas Tree - glue one of the smaller ones to the tissue tube
     
  17. Insert the bigger one into the cut out space on the tissue core. Secure with glue.
  18. Table Top Mini Christmas Tree - insert the larger one into the notch and glue, add glue to the front of the TP tube
     
  19. Then glue the other smaller size in front.
  20. Table Top Mini Christmas Tree - glue the second smaller tree section to the front of the TP tube
     
  21. Put the star on top of the middle paper and it's ready for display. See image.
