Christmas Angels Mobile

Reuse an old angel tree top or cut out a large angel from a magazine or hand draw one. Cut out and glue to white card board. Make stars out of white poster board. Decorate stars with silver sparkle glue or use your imagination. Punch hole on top of star and at bottom of skirt. You can also use a stapler to attach string.

Write names of loved ones that have passed on across the star. Use yarn, heavy kite string, or thin ribbon to attach to the angel skirt. Hang in a window or on tree. I have substituted, Christmas trees, and hand made round ornaments, as well as bells. I have also made large stars and hung small stars with real bells attached to the stars. Handmade candles, with the names written at the base work as well. I started making these memory mobiles in 1969.

Source: I started my first mobile, 12/1969 to remember my great-grandmother. I missed her, so this way she was with me. Even at Christmas, her favorite holiday.

If you could get a picture of one of them I sure would like to see them.
