I have a lot of stuffed Easter bunnies and would like ideas on changing them into Christmas bunnies to donate to the church for Christmas gifts. I removed the cloth Easter basket from their paws and the ribbon from their necks. What could I replace these with?

My first thought would be to add silk poinsetta in their hand or silk holly or even a very small candy cane. You can always combine red and green ribbon to replace the ribbon that was originally on the bunny. Also sometimes at the dollar stores you can find a package of small santa hats.

I like the Santa hats too, you could cut slashes out to slide the ears through, also they could hold those tiny red stockings just hot glue there hands to each one and put tiny candy canes inside and put little wrapped boxes in the hands too or in the stocking.
Maybe even just take some red wide silk ribbon and sew little bells around it for there necks and put a red pom pom on the nose like he is Rudolph.
Depends on the pastel. A lot of pastels are "in" right now. Pair them with something metallic or glittery like Pink and Gold, Blue and Silver, Use Snowflakes or icicles instead of the traditional red and green colors. Instead of trying to paint over the pastel color use glittery puffy paint to add stars, snowflakes, or swirls. Craft stores have Christmas flowers and other ornamental gewgaws in just about every color these days. Hope that helped!
You could wrap small boxes to look like presents and hot glue them in the bunnies' paws.

What about the ears, they have pastel colored fabric in them. I thought about painting them but.........

What about mini trees, wreaths or bells between the paws? Depending on the size of the bunnies, maybe other miniature ornaments?
