Cardboard Tube Christmas Wreath Wreath - finished wreathI save all the cardboard tubes from toilet paper to make crafts. Here is a kid-friendly craft using them to make a Christmas wreath. Add some paint and a ribbon and you're ready to hang it up.

  • 4 cardboard tubes
  • red and green paint
  • paint brush
  • scissors
  • red ribbon
Cardboard Tube Christmas Ring Wreath - supplies


  1. Paint two of your cardboard tubes green.
  2. Cardboard Tube Christmas Ring Wreath - paint two tubes green
  3. When completely dry, cut rings every 3/4 inch.
  4. Cardboard Tube Christmas Ring Wreath - cut into 3/4 inch rings when dry
  5. Paint the other two tubes red, dry, and cut.
  6. Cardboard Tube Christmas Ring Wreath - paint other tubes red and repeat
  7. Organize the rings so they alternate in colour; red, green, red, green.
  8. Cardboard Tube Christmas Ring Wreath - organize into alternating colors

  9. Take your red ribbon and begin threading the rings on it.
  10. Cardboard Tube Christmas Ring Wreath - thread rings onto red ribbon
  11. Make sure you have several inches of ribbon left over so you can tie a big bow at the top of the wreath.
  12. Cardboard Tube Christmas Ring Wreath - leave extra ribbon for bow
