3D Paper Star Ornament - star hanging on the treeIt's the first day of the Christmas month and today I'll start with smaller Christmas decorations. The most common ornament is the star. This one is very basic, but a little complicated.

  • 4x4 inch pieces of colored paper
  • scissors
  • glue

  5. Open the paper and fold diagonally. To do this take one corner to the other side then crease the center. Do the same on the other side.

  7. Open the paper again and then cut half way in on the four sides. Refer to image attached.

  9. Following these cuts, make the two sides meet towards the center. See photo.

  11. Do the same to all four sides. You will be able to form something like this.
  12. 3D Paper Star Ornament - repeat three more times with this resulting 4 pointed star
  13. Now, place one on top of the other. Secure it with glue.
  14. 3D Paper Star Ornament - glue the folds one on the top of the other
  15. Do this to the remaining parts. Now, you have a 4 point star.
