Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 cup persimmon pulp
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 cup nuts (opt.)

Directions

Cream margarine and sugar; add egg and persimmon pulp. Sift and add 2 cups flour, soda, and spices. Flour raisins and nuts; add to mixture. Bake at 350 degrees F for 12 minutes on greased cookie sheet.
