Recycling Christmas Cards

Supplies:

• Christmas cards
• Scissors
• Whole puncher
• Thin ribbon
• A fine sharpie or nice writing pen

Steps:

1. Use all your Christmas cards except for the ones that have personal pictures.

 

 
2. Open each card, cut out nice large gift cards using the nice images on the cards.

 
3. Try not using the side that has writing on it. Most cards the writing is on the right side of the card.
4. I like to cut the top into a V and then cut the tip off. That is where you will punch a whole into it and tie a ribbon!
5. I find these are great because you have more room to write a nice message!
6. You can also use leftover Christmas cards or get clearance cards!

I save them with the intent of repurposing them but never get around to it. Maybe this will be the year. :)

I have been taking Christmas cards and making new cards out of them. I print my verses from the comp. Cut cards and stick the picture onto card stock and add the verse inside.

I have saved cards for years, and gotten them from friends.
