Dress up an dining chair with a multipurpose Santa hat and decorative necklace! Most everybody has a junk box full of these Mardi Gras necklaces. I took one, centered it on the chair and taped it into place. Then I took a Santa hat, also purchased from the dollar store about 10 Christmases ago and positioned it on the chair and taped that into place. When you go to your Christmas party you can un-tape them both and use them or leave them on the chair for Christmas morning.

I have a small tree in my dining room where I've put all the little ornaments, that used to get lost on my big tree. I've collected Mardi Gras beads of all different colors over the years, and I've used them to drape all around that little tree.
