  • red felt
  • holiday buttons
  • scissors
  • Fiberfil stuffing
  • embroidery thread/needle
  • white ribbon

Instructions:

  1. Make a mitten shaped pattern with some paper and pen/pencil, and cut out.

  2. Fold your red felt in half and pin your pattern.

  3. Cut so you now have 2 mittens.

  4. On one mitten, hand sew holiday buttons and star shapes with embroidery thread.

  5. Use a blanket stitch to sew mitten shapes together. Do NOT stitch across the top of mitten yet.

  6. Stuff with Fiberfil stuffing. Cut a 12 inch piece of ribbon, fold in half, and insert into the corner of mitten.

  7. Use more Fiberfil across top of mitten, and starting at the ribbon, begin stitching across the top to close mitten and secure outer Fiberfil.

  8. As a variation of this, you can use the ribbon to connect two mittens together and use that as the hanger.
